Day 1 Day 1: Arrival in Luxor

Begin your adventure on the MS Farida Nile Cruise with a warm welcome in Luxor City. Our English-speaking representative will escort you in a private air-conditioned vehicle to the cruise ship. Check-in before lunch, then embark on an afternoon exploration of Luxor’s East Bank. Wander through the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious structure ever built, dedicated to the god Amun. Stroll along The Avenue of Sphinxes and marvel at towering columns, intricate hieroglyphs, and the sacred lake. Continue to the Luxor Temple, beautifully aligned with Karnak and illuminated by the golden afternoon sun. Return to the ship for dinner and an overnight stay in Luxor.

Day 2 Day 2: Luxor West Bank

After breakfast, cross the The Nile River to Luxor’s West Bank, home to some of ancient Egypt’s most iconic treasures. Continue to the Temple of Hatshepsut, a striking structure with terraces that rise against limestone cliffs. Before returning, stop at the Colossi of Memnon for photos of these monumental statues that have stood for over 3,000 years. Enjoy lunch onboard as the ship sails towards Edfu via the Esna Lock.
